BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. -- Drinking milk is not only healthy, it can also be fun. Lunch time was more exciting than usual for students at Woodfin Elementary on Wednesday -- a cow came to visit and each child got a milk mustache. As part of the health campaign, the students spent part of the week learning more about the benefits of milk and other dairy products. "We've been learning how it's really healthy for you, and the different proteins it provides," student Malorie said. Students at Barnardsville and Pisgah Elementary schools also got a visit from the cow. Leslie Guzman, a nutrition specialist with Buncombe County Schools, says they wanted to target the smaller elementary schools so the cow could spend more one-on-one time with each student.
